Deathsport will release their new single "Running in Circles" on March 31st, following the success of their previous singles "Me Person" and their cover of Wang Chung's "Dance Hall Days".

Deathsport is an indie rock band founded by brothers Mike and Tom Zitzelsberger. Their youth was shaped by strong influences from the dreampop and shoegaze scene, inspiring them to experiment with various genres, projects, and approaches. The siblings gained experience in bands, worked as producers, and wrote songs for other artists. However, they ultimately returned to their roots — the love for nostalgia, straightforward songwriting, and the pursuit of something unique.

Originally from Munich, the duo garnered attention through a series of self-released singles that resonated with the press, radio, and music enthusiasts. Eventually, Berlin-based label Duchess Box Records discovered them.

Discussing the new single "Running in Circles", Deathsport explains:

"‘Running in Circles’ is the indie anthem for anyone stuck in the loop of life — chasing potential, embracing the same old tunes, and trying to find meaning in the noise. With a blend of introspective lyrics and a catchy, laid-back vibe, this track is all about the paradox of going nowhere while feeling like you're everywhere. It’s the perfect soundtrack for those days when you’re spinning around, wondering if there’s more to it, but not really minding the ride. So go ahead, put it on repeat — sometimes, running in circles is exactly where you need to be."
