Deathsport will release their "Problem" EP on the 16th of August containing their successful singles "Me Person", "Unsocial Media" and "Worrymind".

Deathsport is an indie rock band founded by brothers Mike and Tom Zitzelsberger. Their youth was shaped by strong influences from the dreampop and shoegaze scene, inspiring them to experiment with various genres, projects, and approaches. The siblings gained experience in bands, worked as producers, and wrote songs for other artists. However, they ultimately returned to their roots — the love for nostalgia, straightforward songwriting, and the pursuit of something unique.

Originally from Munich, the duo garnered attention through a series of self-released singles that resonated with the press, radio, and music enthusiasts. Eventually, Berlin-based label Duchess Box Records discovered them. Together, they are were working on their "Problem" EP that is set for a release on the 16th of August.

In the “Problem” EP Deathsport serves up a hilarious take on modern relationships and digital dilemmas. From self-absorbed rants to ironic social media woes, this EP navigates the pitfalls of being connected yet disconnected. Brace yourself for a rollercoaster of introspection, satire, and a touch of existential dread wrapped in catchy melodies and biting wit.

Discussing the new and unreleased focus track of the Problem EP "Neodistance", Deathsport explains:

"'Neodistance' explores the complexities of modern romance in the digital age. It's about two people who are physically distant yet emotionally close — or perhaps emotionally distant despite being physically close. Either way there is only neodistance in between."
